My time at News 2 shaped the way I approach production. After starting as a Digital Producer and later being promoted to News Producer, I gained experience managing live broadcasts, coordinating teams, making real-time editorial decisions, and bringing stories to air every day. It was an environment that demanded adaptability, collaboration, and calm under pressure.
One of my favorite projects at News 2 was Into the Wild, an environmental podcast I produced and co hosted with reporter Katie Fongvongsa. Each episode featured original stories from both of us, and I was responsible for pitching, shooting, producing, and editing my own segments from concept to final cut. It gave me the opportunity to tell longer form stories about conservation, wildlife, and the people working to protect our natural world.

As a Freelance Production Assistant, I support commercial, documentary, and narrative productions by assisting with on-set logistics, talent coordination, equipment setup, and overall production operations. Working in fast-paced environments has strengthened my ability to adapt quickly, collaborate with crews, and help bring creative projects to life from setup through wrap.

I’m fascinated by the early stages of creating a project. I enjoy brainstorming ideas, building narratives, and turning concepts into scripts that are ready for production. I’ve developed an original short film from the ground up and continue to write scripts and creative treatments for branded content, always focusing on stories that feel engaging, intentional, and memorable.
